Mike, a proud christian, father, and combat veteran, was born in Baltimore, MD, and raised in Greensboro, NC. He enlisted in the Army in 2006, serving nearly a decade with two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. In 2007, during a visit home he met his first wife. They married and had three children, whom they now co-parent. After his military service, Mike transitioned to a career as a truck driver, specializing in flatbed and fuel hauling. Seeking new challenges and a way to serve his community, Mike entered the junk removal industry.

Brandy was born in Wichita, KS, where her father was stationed in the Air Force until she was two. Her family then moved to Brunswick, MD, where she grew up, learning the importance of faith and family. In 2008, Brandy met her first husband, with whom she has three children. During his military career, Brandy became a stay-at-home mom to provide support and stability for her family. In 2021, after separating from her children’s father, Brandy and her children relocated to Lexington, NC. There she reentered the workforce as an office administrative assistant and, a few years later, met Mike.

Mike and Brandy’s connection was immediate. What began as a causal lunch date at a family-owned restaurant in Southmont quickly blossomed into a relationship neither had ever experienced. On Christmas Eve 2024, Mike proposed, and Brandy joyfully accepted. They are excited to join their lives forever in marriage before God, their friends and family at their church in Lexington on May 23rd-the day their daughter was due to be born but now watches over them from Heaven.

Together, Mike and Brandy are the proud owners, founders, and operators of Brandael HQ Junk Removal & Hauling, LLC. Their mission is to serve the community by providing a valuable service that helps people dispose of unwanted items while donating gently used goods to those in need. Committed to giving back, Mike and Brandy strive to make a positive impact through service, compassion, and genuine desire to make a difference.
